Got some new software in this week... a great old school tape emulation plug-in from Sknote and a great new Reverb from Valhalla. Looking forward to using this on my first mix this week, a singer song writer from Kent named Thoreau Hawk.

BTW... Spotify is amazing. If you haven’t heard about it yet it is basically every song ever. Free. Plus it uploads all your iTunes tracks and syncs them for you so you can still jam on iTunes stuff.

What's New at ERR?

Had my first two days off of the summer this week! Lots of work is flying out of ERR right now:
Search Bloc- Sent the finals off to Seventh Dagger Records for pressing this week!
Thoreau Hawk- Kent Folk/Experimental singer song-writer came in to record 4 new songs
Dog Days- Final pre-production finished with recording time roughly scheduled for mid-August!
See You Sunday- Final mix of their new single to be finished on Friday
Grand Jurors- Kent blues/rock are live tracking a new LP this Sunday at ERR.

Summer Projects

Happy Independence Day! Huge facelift on the website front. I have been working too hard to keep up with all my online responsibilities of a business so I figure on my day off I might as well COME TO WORK and get this thing uploaded.
Things have been chipping away nicely here at ERR with Akron/Kent punks KGB just starting to track vocals, and rockers The Great Hum laying down guitars.
David (Downpour Creative) and I have some interesting collaborations coming up here in the next month or so, and we can’t wait for you guys to hear some new Dog Days stuff. See you soon, until then, here is the current list of projects at ERR!
