I come from a DIY recording background and I am completely self-taught. Unhappy with my own experiences in recording studios around Cleveland and Akron, I decided to take a leap and start recording my own bands and friends’ projects in 2007. Many years and over 50 records later and Engine Room Recording has become the studio I hoped it would. A relaxed, creative atmosphere where artists and friends can make the music they want to hear.
I have been fortunate enough to work with some of my favorite bands in recent years, each helping me become a better engineer and producer. My goal in working with any band is always simple; take the artists vision and song further than they could have ever hoped!
